LETTER FROM THE CHAIRMAN

JANUARY 2009

We are proud to introduce our new website and logo. We hope this new layout will be helpful in illustrating our work.

We take pride in having a team of culturally literate staff with clear understanding of the issues and challenges faced by immigrants. We intend to be the helping hand that assists those who come through our doors looking for information or perplexed by the complexity of navigating the system in their new environment.

We are keen to partner and collaborate with other agencies or community based organizations to bring quality and effective services and educational endeavors. Our center proves to be an excellent outreach resource hosting informational sessions or workshops making new initiatives available to our clients.

Our newest operation, the worker center based at Strait Gate Church in Mamaroneck provides a resource for both men and women seeking employment or to strengthen their skills to increase job opportunities as well as for those who are looking to hire temporary or full time workers.

Please contact us at (914) 835 1512 or via email at resourcecenter@hrclm.org to learn more about our programs, schedule a visit or volunteer. Our support comes from Foundations, Westchester County and generous individuals keen to bring opportunities for others to progress.

Sincerely,

John S. Gitlitz, Ph D

Chairman of the Board
